Getting better Internet connexions
In an ideal world, we would all have the fastest Internet connexion available. However, in a country as large as Australia, it is very difficult to be able to offer a fantastic service to everyone. We do, however, live in a country that has one of the best 3G coverage available, so we are certainly not at a great loss in terms of Internet coverage Australia-wide. In this large country, 3G was probably one o the best and most practical options available to be able to cover the entire continent. However, now that this is in place, how do we move forward and onto the next big thing? We are at a stage where technology is vastly improving and so much more media is becoming available to us, right in our homes. Great things like movies on demand, media sharing, TV channels over the Internet, HD video calls, the list is endless. The thing is though, that to access this great resource of media that is becoming available to us all uses the Internet, and if we have a poor or slow Internet connexion, then we are at a huge disadvantage in terms of receive a great service. You’ll be paying just as much as your friends in another area for the same service, only you’ll be getting a rubbish version, just because your internet connexion isn’t as good. This isn’t just going to effect you in your home, but the whole of society; businesses, work, essential services that ensure cities and society runs as it should etc.
There are many developments that are currently happening to ensure that we all get better internet connexions available to us all.
